"...Nunney is a beautiful little village, and fun to explore. On a future visit to England we will certainly visit Nunney again! --Darrell B.
"I love Nunney Castle, it's a really cool place to go even though there's not much left of it!" --Kate J.
"We visited Nunney on a very hurried taxi trip from Bath. We loved the small castle and village and especially the village ducks. We promised ourselves that we would get back there again to visit the church and maybe have a pint at the local pub. --Chris P.
"Nunney Castle is a beautiful example of 13th century architecture and is well worth visiting, surrounded by an idyllic village. It may seem small at a distance but as you enter the ruins you begin to realize the scale of its four large towers. A lovely place to visit on a sunny day, I thoroughly recommend it!" --Anonymous
"We love going to Nunney Castle. The children would spend hours playing in the grounds if given the chance. The only down side is that the villagers are unfriendly and there is no access to public toilets." --Robin W.
"A perfect and tranquil place to visit, it also gives one an insight into a small intimate castle that should be restored to its former glory." --Brian Y.
"My grandfather came from Beckington, a small village near Frome, and Nunney Castle was a regular trip for us when I was a child. I thought it was wonderful, as it seemed a classic medieval castle in miniature. My uncle, who was rather a teller of tall tales, used to say that during the civil war when the royalists were being besieged by Parliament, they had virtually run out of food, but kept a small pig and by pulling its tail to make it squeal, gave the impression they were slaughtering a pig every day." --Jane B.
"Just moved to Frome and did not know Nunney Castle existed till the other day. It would be wonderful to see it restored to its original condition. It would be like having Medievil France in England." --Brain L.
